I've found that if I schedule in time for keeping myself well and grounded then I am able to work more efficiently, for example I make sure I have time to go for walks and rest during my working day. And I know if I forget these things my health and my work both suffer so I've come to realise that it's not an option for me.
Another important factor for me is that I can create my own schedule to a large extent, this flexibility really helps me take care of my sensitivity.
I also make sure that I'm energetically protected especially before working with clients and again this is another essential part of my day which prevents me taking on other people's issues and getting disproportionately tired.
I'd love to hear what other people have found works for them
Love and light,

Meditation and being aware of how I feel have to be my top tips. Like today I was on the PC for a while and my head started feeling foggy so I went and meditated, and started again when I felt refreshed. It's learning what works best and quickest for yourself, and then using it.
And I guess learning to be kind to myself - and not listening to that fear based voice saying I should be doing more etc. It's being comfortable as me and adoring myself for my little quirks!!
I'm constantly striving to find work that suits me, and therefore being a HSP, so the only balance then becomes not getting too excited, lol. I know I give my best when I am at my best, so aim to do what it takes to be at my best. That did take discipline to start with though, and the confidence to say what I need. So then constantly working on myself helps too.
And forgiving myself for getting overwhelmed. That's a big one.
Oh that was good getting it down on paper - becomes like a recipe to follow! Thanks for asking.
